Dr. Melanie Carreon has been performing Body Jet Liposuction since March of 2009. She was not only the first physician to perform the water-assisted liposuction procedure in the San Antonio, Austin and Houston areas, but one of the first in the United States.

Dr. Carreon completed her postgraduate training in University of Texas Medical Branch, and became board certified in Family Medicine. Throughout her years doing aesthetic procedures, she educates and assist patients in understanding how advances in minimally invasive surgical techniques could provide them, by using only local anesthesia. She continually expands her knowledge base, by attending aesthetic conferences and advanced training seminars on procedures using only local anesthesia.

Besides her experience, Dr. Carreon is a petite woman herself, and her smallish, talented hands, her ability to quickly get around the table to where her patient needs her to be, the gentleness with which she uses her instruments, and her personal understanding and first hand knowledge of how these procedures feel to a woman's body, make her a very effective practitioner of the many cosmetic procedures she has come to know well through so many different patients.
